Child Care Support
If you have already begun or even completed the search for a child care provider, we can still enhance your process.
We can interview, hire and train your nanny or babysitter so that he or she can mimic your unique parenting style while you are away from the home. Not all nannies have backgrounds in early childhood development so we aim to coach those nannies on your child's emotional and developmental needs. We also help to set up an extensive Home Care Booklet that instructs the nanny on exactly how to care for the child. Our Home Care Booklet contains family schedules, children's medicines, emergency plans and any other important information. We work with the parents to anticipate any other child care issues that might arise in the future and outline plans for the child care provider to follow in the event they are needed.
If you have already hired a nanny, we can examine your current child care regimen and create a training program for the nanny to follow based on your parenting style and your child's requirements. Our goal is to establish a constancy of care between the parents and nanny or babysitter so that the children consistently feel a familiar level of care and trust.
A few sessions with parents and child care provider can make all the difference for a smooth family transition. We work with your child care provider not only to provide the greatest care for your children, but also to create a physical and emotional environment in which they can flourish.

"When Maddy hit the "Terrible Twos" there were moments when I felt like throwing a tantrum right there next to her. Tammy sat with me in my home, supported me and helped me to better understand what was happening. We created a better schedule, set of rules and daily structure that really improved her behaviors."
