Parental Support

Gold Parent Coaching offers a variety of services, in group and individual formats, designed to address the specific needs of single parents, stay-at-home parents and partners in two-income families. Above and beyond traditional family services, all sessions may be performed on-site, in the privacy of your home or the location that best suits your needs. At times when support is needed immediately, we are available to work with you over the phone. Whether you are pregnant for the first time, having a tough time establishing sleep schedules or toilet training, or want to better communicate with your children, our coaches will strategically tackle each of your family's needs one manageable step at a time.

Moms

The transition to motherhood can be filled with many ups and downs. We will work with you and coach you through the physical, emotional and social changes that you are facing. If you are staying at home, working part-time or returning to work full-time, we can customize a plan to make you feel supported. While you focus on caring for all those around you, we focus on caring for you.

Dads

Becoming a father can be filled with joy, but also trepidation. We can work with fathers to help them feel more confident in their new role and also help them adjust to the changes in their lifestyle. Fathers deserve support, however finding time within busy work schedules can be difficult, therefore we can arrange to meet at your office or speak to you on the telephone during your commute.

Marriage

While bringing tremendous joy, a new child can also take a significant toll on a marriage. We can work with mom and dad to help to help them better understand each other. We can also help you anticipate the needs of the marriage and how it will work within the new family unit.

Parental Philosophy

Working as a team can greatly benefit parents during times of stress especially if you are sleep deprived and pressed for time. We can help you identify your values and how to best apply them in situations such as: discipline, house rules, daily structure, sleep schedules, toilet training, allowance setting, extracurricular activities, chores and other important family decisions.

Extended Family

The presence of a new baby affects all members of the family. We can help smooth-out any tensions and coach you on ways to handle pressures from in-laws or extended family members who want to be an active part of your child's life.

Pregnancy

Working hand-in-hand, we will help you create realistic expectations for your child's first year. We will customize a series of one-on-one meetings that will help you better understand what to expect during the next nine months and to how to care for your newborn.

Newborns

Bringing home a newborn is a time of delight, but also uncertainty. We can create a much-needed sense of order and tranquility by helping you establish regular patterns of sleeping and feeding for your infant, while also helping your family connect emotionally to your new baby.

Toddlers

Now is the time to learn to understand your child's verbal and physical cues. Together, we will help you better understand and communicate with your toddler helping to avoid tantrums.

Children

As your child grows, it is important to empathize with his or her challenges, especially during times of change such as welcoming a new sibling, starting school or moving. Gold Parent Coaching will help you through transitions, ensuring that your child feels supported and secure.

Teens

Teenagers often struggle for independence. Gold Parent Coaching will work with you, encouraging the entire family to feel respected and understood.
